Leadership

Business leaders join for a planned experience that exposes them to the overall needs of the community and region.  The program examines topics that run the gamut from economic development to medical services to education.  Field visits to key facilities in the city and county along with presentations by professionals who have expertise in a number of specialty and technical fields round out the average day.  Participants attend an orientation session and 1-day retreat and participate in a 1-day session each month from September to May.  Applications are accepted May-June for the session beginning the following August. A Leadership Alumni group started in Fall 2006 to continue the networking bond.

Aug. 2023 – May 2024 Leadership

Applications for the next season of Leadership are open! To apply, fill out the application form and pay the $1500 tuition payment. Payments can be made online where you can choose to pay or be invoiced, or via check. If you wish to pay by check, either bring in or mail your check to the Chamber office at 602 Sevier Street, Suite 101, Johnson City, TN 37604. Checks should be made out to “Chamber Foundation.”
