Since its establishment in 2002, The Chamber Foundation has been dedicated to fostering community development and education in Johnson City, Jonesborough, Washington County and beyond. As a 501(c(3) nonprofit, the Foundation supports a variety of impactful programs, including 3D Youth Leadership, Bob Owens Community Leadership Fund, Leadership Johnson City, National Civics Bee and the Young Professionals of Johnson City program. These initiatives empower current and future leaders to make meaningful contributions to the community, driving growth and innovation.
One of the Foundation’s proudest achievement is its Captial Campaign, which successfully raised the funds needed to relocate the Chamber office to the historic Model Mill. This milestone not only preserved a piece of local history but also created a vibrant hub for collaboration and economic development. The Foundation’s work continues with the support of generous contributions from local businesses and community members.
